Scott Byrd, Ph.D., Managing Partner
Scott Byrd has been an applied, social science researcher for over 20 years in the fields of education and STEM, human rights and social justice, non-profit organizations, and public policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and a Masters in Environmental Sciences. He has a passion for helping organizations work better and has been working in the non-profit and advocacy sector since 1994. In research, his specialties are in mixed methods and social network analysis. He has a penchant for designing meticulous surveys and running exciting focus groups. Stacy Otto, Ph.D., Research Partner
Stacy is an artist, writer, and researcher who holds a Ph.D. in Social Foundations of Education. She studies and theorizes visual culture and qualitative research methodologies as well as performing analyses of historical and social issues related to equity issues in US education. Stacy is serious about qualitative methods and the role of human rights, especially gender and civil rights, in educational organizations as well as in the public and private sectors.
Trish Long, Ph.D., Research Partner
Trish is an academic administrator, researcher, and teacher who specializes in clinical psychology. Her areas of expertise include therapeutic interventions, the study of sexual victimization, abnormal psychology, psychological research & statistical methods, and gender issues. She is a natural born facilitator and statistical wiz as well as having over 25 year of experience in higher education administration, planning, and assessment. Trish has also conducted program evaluations for community organizations and educational programs.
